Knowledge Equalisation

We offer a range of digital technology and social media briefings and workshops, designed to achieve a common level of understanding across your organisational management. These highly interactive sessions are designed to meet the individual requirements of your organisation, and we offer a range of modules covering subjects such as:

1) The Impact Of Digital On Consumer's Lives

Our lives are being radically changed by digital influences. Some are obvious such as the way in which we view TV and the impact of mobile technology, while others are rather more subtle such as changes in the make up of our social networks and who we regard as trusted information sources.

This module examines how digital is reshaping our everyday world, what are the key drivers of this change and what are the implications, such how has it changed buying patterns and who we turn to for advice.

2) Digital Consumer Segmentation

All of our lives have been influenced by digital technology to the extent that it is no longer valid to differentiate between digital and non-digital consumers. We need to identify new ways to segment individuals that reflect their level of digital engagement.

This module identifies segmentation mechanisms, discusses the attributes of the different segments that emerge and examines how this segmentation is likely to evolve.

3) Digital Consumer Attitudes & Activities

Digital consumers act and interact in a variety of ways, from active participation through content creation and sharing, to passive participation such as reading a blog or news feed. Underlying such activities are key themes that show the changing ways in which consumers interact with each other and organisations.

This module explores the different activities and themes observable amongst digital consumers, how they vary between segments and the way they affect how consumers interact socially and commercially.

4) The Social Media Tool Kit

There are many social media tools available to your organisation, for everything from ensuring your brand is protected online, to building a fully integrated online community. Which tools your organisation should deploy depends on your aims and your desired position on the digital engagement continuum.

This module examines the types of tool available, (e.g. blogs, wikis, mobile etc), the benefits and issues associated with each, and provides real life examples of how they have been used by organisations.

5) Building A Community

Social media tools can make building online communities easy, from giving users the ability to create a profile and search for people with similar interests, to enabling them to communicate and share. Such communities can redefine relationships between consumers and organisations, but also have their risks.

This module examines why online communities have grown so rapidly, which tools support building such networks and what other factors your organisation should consider when deciding to build an online community.
